Zoning Board of Adjustment · Meeting of June 16, 2026

NH LACONIA — Laconia Zoning Board approves five property variances unanimously in routine June meeting. Chair Marcia Hayward led the board through five unanimously approved applications, including a duplex-unit conversion at Governor's Crossing that replaces 13 single-family lots with 13 duplex structures to address rising construction costs and housing affordability. The board also approved variances for storage containers at 398 White Oaks Road, residential privacy fences on Pleasant Street and Parade Road, and a carport at 1034 Main Street.

In separate action, the board unanimously denied a request for rehearing on a prior application at 604 Endicott Street East. All votes were 5-0.
