NH LACONIA — Zoning Board of Adjustment rejects 128-pad campground and short-term rental on neighborhood impacts. The Laconia Zoning Board of Adjustment unanimously denied a 128-pad campground special exception at 238 White Oaks Rd., citing traffic and neighborhood character concerns; Richard Boddie recused himself. In a 3-2 vote, board members Marcia Hayward, Jane Laroche, and Councilor Eric Hoffman voted to deny a short-term lodging special exception at 86 Chapin Tr., over opposition from Chair Michael DellaVecchia and Boddie.
The board unanimously approved three residential variances at 122 Paugus Park Rd., 15 Doe Ave, and 17 Wentworth Cove Rd.
