Board approves taxi company, vendor, and entertainment licenses

NH LACONIA — Laconia Licensing Board approves vendor and taxi company licenses in routine meeting. The board approved Papa's Kitchen as an itinerant vendor and Winnisquam Watershed Network for a 50-50 cash raffle drawing scheduled for April 1. Mr.
C's Taxi LLC received company approval along with five drivers—Linda Sinclair, Bruce Anstey, Hillary Goldstein, Robert Scarsilloni, and Timothy Hodgson—contingent on Police Department vetting. The board also approved an entertainment license for Off The Rails but tabled its outdoor loudspeaker permit after identifying conflicts between the applicant's stated in-restaurant use and prior statements about boardwalk-facing speakers to attract customers; Chairman Rogato noted the location had multiple noise complaints last year that stopped after the speaker orientation changed in September.
