Theatre board pursues nonprofit status; Spectacle reports $17.8M impact

NH LACONIA — Colonial Theatre Advisory Board recruits nonprofit board members as Spectacle reports $17.8M impact. Jared Guilmett urged members to reach out to candidates for the five-member nonprofit organization, with Donna Gaudet-Hosmer and Jim Rogato already committed. The board is exploring funding from the New Hampshire Charitable Fund, New Hampshire Preservation Alliance, and Charitable Gaming.

Spectacle Live reported $17.8 million in economic impact to downtown Laconia since 2021, including $3.8 million invested in touring acts, $750,000 in marketing, $72,000 donated to veterans and first responders, and $75,000 donated to community organizations.
