Conservation Commission Directs Resource Analysis Update Strategy

NH LACONIA — Laconia Conservation Commission directs methodology for environmental resource analysis and planning tool update. The Commission voted unanimously to accept corrected March 18 minutes and directed consulting firm FB Environmental's Sarah Solely and Christine Bunyan on updating the city's Natural Resource Inventory with 34 spatial data layers organized into nine environmental categories. The Commission agreed to begin with a fully stacked analytical approach with normalized versions to follow and scheduled a follow-up meeting for May 20.
The Commission also approved including a 400-foot scenic byway buffer in the analysis.
