Conservation Commission reviews four development applications, tables further business.

Conservation Commission · Meeting of August 19, 2026

NH LACONIA — Conservation Commission reviews four development applications for environmental compliance. Chair Dean Anson presided as the board examined a five-lot subdivision at 1206 Old North Main Street, a mixed-use development at White Oaks, a multi-family building at 59 Doe Avenue with building area in a regulated wetland buffer, and an after-the-fact garage permit at 208 Eastman Road. Members, including Deb Williams, emphasized minimizing wetland impacts and ensuring accurate environmental assessment before projects advance through planning review.

The Commission voted unanimously to table all Old and New Business items to its September 16 meeting following cancellation of the September 2 session.
