NH LACONIA — Laconia downtown TIF board seeks landscaping fund redirect to Stewart Park. The board reached consensus to request that the city redirect $35,000 in approved landscaping funds from Rotary Park to Stewart Park for this season, while pursuing separate funding for a sprinkler system estimated at $10,000 to $12,000. Chair Warren Clement and members Jim Daubenspeck and Kara Chase heard a downtown-mural presentation with estimated first-project costs of $7,000 to $8,000 before artist compensation and expressed support for the initiative pending private donations and grants.
