NH LACONIA — Master Plan Steering Committee advances work on land use strategies. Planning Director Rob Mora's committee reviewed a Draft Outreach and Engagement Report prepared by consultants Steve Whitman and Crystal Kidd of Resilience Planning & Design, identifying priorities including housing expansion, downtown strengthening, and transportation improvements. The committee emphasized increasing youth engagement through school and college partnerships ahead of a September public workshop.
Assistant Planning Director Tyler Carmichael reported that an upcoming zoning ordinance rewrite will integrate with the new Master Plan, with the committee confirming meeting dates for July 30, August 27, and September 24.
