NH LACONIA — Laconia Water board approves emergency vessel grant, advances pump station planning. The Board of Water Commissioners unanimously approved Accounts Payable and Financial Statement dated January 5, authorizing $5,225 for new laborer Christopher Havens to obtain a Commercial Driver License-B certification. An emergency response vessel grant up to $25,000 was approved pending EPA approval; the lake wall replacement grant was denied.
Superintendent Ben Crawford outlined the Briarcrest Pump Station project, which is expected to cost between $1.5 and $2 million.
