Water Commission schedules summer infrastructure work, approves operations

NH LACONIA — Water Commission approves routine operations and schedules summer River Street water main replacement. The board unanimously approved the June 15 minutes and the Accounts Payable and Financial Statement for July 6. Superintendent Ben Crawford reported that 250 feet of water main along River Street will be replaced this summer in coordination with the Department of Public Works, with fall work including a relay of Warner Street from Endicott Street north to Doe Avenue.

A main break occurred Thursday night on a 2-inch iron pipe from 1910 on Gilman Street. The board will review the CIP 2028-2033 list at the second August meeting before a September 17 city deadline.
