Conservation Commission pursues groundwater aquifer protection with neighboring towns

NH LACONIA — The Conservation Commission advances new environmental initiatives. The commission unanimously accepted corrected previous minutes and assigned members to lead work on groundwater aquifer protection, climate change, and conservation easement monitoring. Chair Dean Anson will coordinate with the Planning Director about presenting nine proposed projects to Laconia City Council.
Rod Cameron presented a groundwater-protection report from neighboring Belmont, Northfield, and Tilton that the commission said is critical to community conservation.
