NH LACONIA — Laconia Conservation Commission advances Natural Resources Inventory update with FBE Environmental. Chair Dean Anson, joined by Commissioners Deb Williams, Jen Kreitzer, Dan Hooberman, Lisa Morin, Rod Cameron, and Peter Nagle, focused on gathering GIS datasets including wetlands, vernal pools, flood-risk maps, and scenic viewsheds. The Commission identified significant gaps in the 2009 wetland survey and questions about 22 vernal pools documented in 2022.
Greyson Draper, Planner Technician, will coordinate with the city's IT Department and Department of Public Works GIS Manager Paul Elsholz to clarify data needs and associated costs before proceeding.
