Committee approves five special events through Bike Week

NH LACONIA — Laconia Special Events committee clears calendar with conditions. The committee unanimously approved five special events for spring and summer 2026, including Biketember Fest and Wake The Lake block parties at Lakeside Avenue and three Motorcycle Week applications at Weirs Boulevard and Lakeside Avenue locations. All approvals require Temporary Traffic Orders and adherence to vendor management conditions, with vendor lists due to the Licensing Department by May 29.
The committee continued Love Our Earth Day and the Multicultural Festival to April 1 for public hearings after one application could not be located in staff files.
