Special Events Committee Approves Eight Summer Events Including Motorcycle Week

Special Events Review Committee · Meeting of May 6, 2026

NH LACONIA — Special Events Committee approves eight applications for summer events including Motorcycle Week venues and city's Fourth of July. The Laconia Special Events Technical Review Committee unanimously approved applications for parking and vendors at four Motorcycle Week locations, the city's Fourth of July celebration featuring expanded fireworks for its 250th anniversary, and the Weirs Community Park Farmers Market. The Fourth of July application passed with one abstention from Amy Lovisek, Parks and Recreation Director, due to conflict of interest.

The committee required vendor lists by May 29 across multiple applications and approved the 38 and 76 Endicott Street motorcycle rally with conditions for Fire Department coordination and a revised site plan showing access points and facilities.
