Planning Board approves five development projects in single session

Planning Board · Meeting of May 5, 2026

NH LACONIA — Laconia Planning Board approves five projects in one meeting, including 25-lot subdivision. The Planning Board voted 7-0 to approve a 25-lot subdivision at 33 White Oaks Road after the applicant, represented by project manager Neil Hanson of Tighe & Bonde, agreed to add sidewalks throughout the development, reversing the board's April denial of a waiver request. The approval mandates impact fees of $9,653.67 per unit with all conditions due by May 5, 2033.

The board also approved four additional applications with unanimous 7-0 votes: a multifamily duplex amendment on Kinsman Drive, a boundary line adjustment on Hayes Road, a condominium conversion on Gilford Avenue, and a phased mixed-use development at 1085 White Oaks Road.
