Police Commission approves three out-of-state training requests

NH LACONIA — Police Commission unanimously authorizes three out-of-state training schools for department personnel. The Commission voted to send Officer Tyler Rouse to the Taser Master Instructor School in New York, Chief Canfield to the FBI Academy Re-Trainer in Ontario Canada, and Accreditation Manager Robin Moyer to the CALEA Conference in Tucson Arizona. Rouse's tuition will be fully covered by Axon, the department's major Taser vendor, with only meal and travel reimbursement required; Rouse will stay with family in New York to reduce costs.
